Guide for students

Join your college, read your teachers' notes, hand in assignments, check your attendance and marks, apply to placement drives — and learn with Aria, your AI tutor.

Joining your college

Sign up with any email, then link your college once. There are three ways, on Verify my college:

  1. "I have a college email": enter it, press "Send me a code", type the six-digit code from the email (check Spam if it isn't there), choose your branch and year, and press "Verify my college".
  2. "I have a code": enter the college code your placement cell emailed you, your branch and year.
  3. "I have neither": find your college, enter your roll number exactly as the college records it, and press "Ask my placement cell to confirm me". You'll see "Waiting for …" until they do.
  • If your college uploaded you with your email, you are linked as soon as you sign up with that address.

Your college on your dashboard

  1. The top of your dashboard shows your college: "Due next" (assignments), "From your teachers" (new notes) and "Attendance" (any course where you are below 75%).
  2. Press "My courses →" for My college: every course this semester with a "new" badge for unread notes, your attendance in each, and your college's notices.

Reading notes

  1. Open a course. Notes are grouped by unit.
  2. "View online" opens a PDF in the browser; "Download" saves it. "Open link" opens a video or website; "Read" opens a written note.

Handing in assignments

  1. Assignments lists To do, Handed in and Marked.
  2. Open an assignment. If it is a notebook assignment, do it in your notebook and hand it to your teacher.
  3. Otherwise type your answer or press "Add photos or files" (up to 10 files — photos are made smaller before upload) and press "Hand in".
  4. You can "Replace my work" until it is marked. After the due date you can still hand it in; it is marked late.

Attendance and internal marks

  1. Each course shows your attendance. 75% is needed to sit the exam; if you are below it, the course tells you how many lectures in a row will get you back.
  2. Internal marks shows each test once your teacher publishes it.
  3. At the end of the semester, a course may ask you to rate how well you met each course outcome (1–5). It takes a minute and helps your college improve the course.

Placement drives

  1. Open Placement drives. "Open to you" lists the drives you are eligible for; others show why not.
  2. Fill in "Your academic details" once (CGPA, backlogs, 10th and 12th %) and press "Save details". After your placement cell verifies them, they can't be changed.
  3. Press "Apply". "My applications" shows where you stand in each round.
  4. Got a job on your own? "Report a job" → "Send to placement cell" so it counts once they verify the offer letter.

Learning with Aria and getting job-ready

  1. Press the Aria button (bottom right) on any page to ask about what you are reading.
  2. "Build my plan" on your dashboard asks a few questions and builds a week-by-week plan.
  3. Core engineering students: your branch page has notes, formula sheets, quizzes and GATE mocks. BCA/MCA students: your path goes from your subjects to a software job.
  4. "My placement readiness" on your dashboard shows what your college sees — from checked work only.
